Southgate Town Hall War Memorials

Southgate District Civic Trust would like to invite you and Southgate Green Association to the unveiling of the restored Southgate Town Hall War Memorials that commemorate employees of Southgate Council who died in action in the two World Wars
This ceremony will take place at 11am on Wednesday 30thJanuary 2019 in Palmers Green Library. See STHM invitation 20190130.
The Southgate Town Hall War Memorials were originally situated within the main entrance to Southgate Town Hall. They were removed by the Museum of Enfield in2012, when the building was sold. They have now been restored and rehung in the Palmers Green library through the efforts of the Southgate District Civic Trust and the London Borough of Enfield.
The Mayor of Enfield will be unveiling the memorials at this ceremony to commemorate these council staff.
